Photographing Aspyn and her family was a great experience…and one that I hope to repeat often during my profession. She was just a darling and a beautiful little girl.

I love photographing kids. It’s been my passion since I started this thing!
Sometimes I’m really lucky and I get that particular child that LOVES the camera, and super, duper lucky when the camera loves the child just as much!!

Sometimes the looks are just too good to pass up. This is Kiriah. Kiriah is pouting because she didn’t get something she wanted. I saw it as the perfect photographic opportunity 😀
2011 High School Senior – Kristina! [Ladysmith, WI photographer]
This past weekend was Kristina’s turn for high school senior portraits and she was a pleasure! This girl has personality galore..and she’s gorgeous to boot! We had fun and I hope to shoot her one more time, as we ran out of light before we ran out of ideas 😀

2011 Senior – Derek [Ladysmith, WI Senior Photographer]
I had the pleasure of meeting Derek and his mom, Sherri, when I photographed Derek for his high school senior pictures. They were lots of fun and I’m not quite done with Derek yet. I will be heading to his hometown in the near future and getting some football pictures of him on his home turf! Here’s a couple of my favorites from his session.
Mini-Session with Cheryl [Ladysmith, WI photographer]
Cheryl and I met tonight for her mini-session. It was unusual for me, as I’m used to going to several different locations during a photo shoot..it was different staying put and only shooting for a brief time. It will take some getting used to. On the other hand, it was soooo cold, I think Cheryl was quite pleased when I was done shooting 😀

My daughter, complete with sleepy eyes, was all dressed up for Mass at school today and I just had to snap her picture! Poor thing wasn’t even awake yet, but she posed..somewhat reluctantly, while I snapped this.
She’ll cherish it someday…that’s what I keep telling her…
September Special! [Ladysmith, WI Photographer]
In addition to the senior sessions I’ve been shooting, I wanted to offer a back-to-school type mini session for those folks who just can’t justify the $150.00 full sessions.
So, the mini session was born!
Mini sessions work well for school age kids, elementary/middle school aged, and they work well for families as well. A quick 1/2 hour session without a lot of fuss and muss. We use one location, chosen by you or me…we don’t mess with a bunch of outfit changes, but I do let you change once if you wish. In a mini session we shoot 2 poses, up to 5 people (additional people can be added for $10 a person).
With the session I actually do a package!! I typically offer prints ala carte, as it gives you more flexability and you’re not left with a bunch of sizes you don’t want! But for the mini session I have put together a package.
1 – 8X10
2 – 5X7
8 – wallets..
The print package alone is valued at $47.50!!
You can choose either pose for the images, or mix and match…
The mini session fee of $50.00 is due at the shoot. Please allow 1 week for processing of images. Limited bookings available, so contact me right away to take advantage of this offer!
Shannon model portfolio shoot [Ladysmith, Wisconsin photographer]
I had the privalege of photographing Shannon again. It hasn’t been that long ago since I shot her senior pictures. Shannon is a model and recently signed with a new agency. She wanted a few different shots for her portfolio, so we headed out for a brief session.
Here are a couple shares from that session. As usual, Shannon was a joy to work with. We had a great time 😀

Seems everyone has a blog these days. I don’t like to be left behind…so behold…the blog!!
I will attempt to share a little something from each session, specials, etc..on this blog.
The next few blogs will be previous sessions…with a little note about the girls I’ve had the pleasure of working with and perhaps an image or two not shared previously.
Tonight I’m working with a previous senior rep (Shannon) to get some images for her modeling portfolio. I’m really excited about it as I’ve never shot for a portfolio before. It certainly SOUNDS important!!
She’s gorgeous and I’m sure we’ll have no trouble making some fantastic images!
